Bill Gilliam (prepared piano) Charlie Ringas (percussion) will be performing their show “Signposts” at Gallery 345 in Toronto on Saturday June 11th at 8pm. This show will be a multiple CD release event of our new “Signposts” CD, “Revolving” CD by Charlie Ringas and “Memory Vision” DVD featuring Bill Gilliam's compositions.  For “Signposts” we improvise music and perform readings of humorous insightful poetry and texts by Ivor Cutler, Don Van Vliet, Alan Lightman, Rumi and other authors

Using recordings of Bill Gilliam’s electro-acoustic compositions and performance collaborations with sound poet Penn Kemp, visual artist Gera Dillon has created multi-media works combined with pieces by visual artists Arnold Wytenburg and Luke Gilliam into this presentation. The underlying themes and interpretations of this music and imagery are based on myth, memory vision and metaphors of the subconscious.
